Junior Golf League
Golf, Instruction, Range Balls, Prizes, Tournaments....Fun Fun Fun
Junior League is geared towards juniors aged 10-18 years old who have played golf and are able to play
9 holes, unsupervised, in the appropriate amount of time. Junior League runs for 8 weeks on Sundays from May 29 until August 28 starting at 2:30 pm.
Juniors will receive instruction from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm on the driving range and putting green from some of Alberta's top CPGA Professionals including Kyle Crawford (CPGA 7 years), Trevor Andrews (CPGA 12 years) and Doug Rowswell (CPGA 22 years).
We will take registrations for the junior league right up to June 19, the first lesson date.
Registration fee is $125.00 for Junior Pass holders and $295.00 for non-Junior pass holders. Note Junior green fees at the Broadmoor are $29.50 for 9 or 18 holes and a Junior season pass is $495.00 (need to play only 17 times to brake even).

Junior Interclub Qualifying
The Broadmoor Junior Interclub consists of our top 8 juniors who compete against local clubs in a match play format throughout the summer. For more information contact the proshop at 780-467-7373 ext. 1.

The Day Ladies league runs on Tuesday mornings commencing the first Tuesday in May and ending the last Tuesday in September.
Our league encompasses many events besides regular play: "Sweeps", Marshall/Podersky matches, Pin Days, EGA visiting days and tournaments. Our Sports Captains ensure you get to golf with all members by doing up a new draw on a weekly basis. This is a fun league where members stay after their round of golf for a coffee and to socialize with fellow golfers.
Registration for the 2011 season is on Tuesday, April 26 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Broadmoor Clubhouse.
Opening Day for league play is on Tuesday, May 3. This is a fun day of golf followed by our Annual General Meeting and dinner.

Our Business Ladies league runs on Tuesday afternoons.
2011 information packages will be emailed to members after March 15 and registration will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Oscar's Pub, 221 Chippewa Road, Sherwood Park, due to the construction at the Broadmoor.
Existing members can renew league membership from 6-7 pm and new memberships will be accepted after 7 pm. BBLGG Membership cap for the 2011 season will be 150 members. Mens Club runs on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 - 6:00 pm. Guests can only play between 1 and 3 pm and must pay the $10.00 fee to participate in the weekly flighted game (handicap required). We will be restricting new memberships this year to improve Wednesday tee time availability and meet weekend tournament limitations. A waiting list will be started on the first registration night of April 6. If necessary we will draw from our waiting list in the order they signed up. Due to the construction of the new clubhouse the registration will be at Billy Bob's. The address is 6107 - 104 Street.
Registration and Annual Spring Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 6 at Billy Bob's as well. If you had a Men's Club membership in 2010 and would like to renew it you may renew your membership from 5:30 - 7:00 pm on April 6. The Annual Spring Meeting will follow going from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. Men's Club membership dues for 2011 is $125 per member. Cheques will be the only method of payment this year. We will also have two other registration dates on Saturday, April 16 and Saturday, April 23 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. These registration dates will be at the Broadmoor. The proshop will accept no money for registrations and will have nothing to do with sign up for the Men's Club this year.
Men's Club Opening day is Wednesday, May 4.

The Broadmoor Senior Men's Club events are held every Thursday morning throughout the season.
One of the goals of our club is to foster fellowship so foursomes are changed each week. Guests are not permitted to play in our weekly events. In additon to our weekly Thursday event, the club organizes a series of singles and doubles matches and participates in regional Senior and Super-Senior Interclub Leagues.
