Travel Media Media Visits Throughout January and February, in partnership with Travel Alberta, Edmonton Tourism welcomed to the Edmonton region 36 journalists and broadcasters representing over 25 print, online, radio, and television media outlets. Watch for upcoming coverage in USA Today, Upscale magazine, CTV’s In Fashion, TV Azteca Disney Club (Mexico), Westworld, Western Living, Alberta Home, and others.
Next media marketplace Canada Media Marketplace, April 12 – 14, 2010. San Francisco, CA Edmonton Tourism will again be sending two representatives to this event. They will hold two sets of one-on-one appointments with media from the US. For Epicurean Canada, a unique sponsorship opportunity at CMM this year, highlighting cuisine from across Canada, Edmonton Tourism has partnered with Tourism Calgary on a table where Alberta’s regional cuisine will be showcased to over 150 qualified local and out of town U.S. travel and lifestyle journalists. (There are eight tables in total; other destinations confirmed include Tourism British Columbia, Ottawa Tourism, Tourisme Québec and Yukon Tourism.)
