Upcoming Events Interview Week You’re Welcome Edmonton nominee interviews are just around the corner! Once again this year, interviews will take place in three locations, including the Shaw Conference Centre, the Mayfield Inn & Suites, and the Edmonton Research Park. We look forward to meeting all of the outstanding nominees over the four-day interview period and extend a sincere thank-you to all of the volunteer interviewers who have signed-up. March Mixer The next Industry Partner Breakfast Mixer will take place Wednesday, March 25th at the Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel. Industry Partners still have a few days left to register online at http://eedc.gobigevent.com/mar09mixer. YWE Gala will take place in April this year Mark your calendars! This year’s You’re Welcome Edmonton Awards Gala will take place a few weeks earlier this year on Wednesday, April 22nd. For more information on purchasing tickets for the gala, please email ywe@edmonton.com. Visitor Services Summer update for Frontline staff presentations will again be taking place this June. Give your front line staff the update on events and the tools to answer visitors’ questions. Watch for this opportunity this spring. The summer season is approaching quickly! Our Visitor Information Centres will commence summer operating hours on May 15. It is important that all partners drop off a supply of their latest brochures for use at the Visitor Information Centres. Partners are encouraged to drop off 500 brochures at either the Gateway Park or Downtown Visitor Information Centres prior to May 15.
