| Industry had the opportunity to meet the 9th Annual You’re Welcome Edmonton Award Recipients at the May Breakfast Mixer held on Wednesday, May 13 at the Westin Edmonton. Those in attendance had the opportunity to personally congratulate those in the service and hospitality industry that went above and beyond. This marked the conclusion of the 9th Annual season and nominations for the 10th Annual event are currently being accepted online at www.yourewelcomeedmonton.com. New face at the Downtown VIC!
Please join in welcoming Christiane Katzenmaier to the Industry and Visitor Services Team as the Summer Downtown Visitor Information Counselor. Chris is currently completing her practicum in International Hotel and Tourism Management at the Academy of Learning. Chris studied at the University of Munich majoring in German Language Arts and has been living in Edmonton since 2001. She is fluent in English, French and German and is excited to learn more about the Travel & Tourism Industry!
Visitor Information Spring Hours
Please note the May/June hours of operation. Gateway Park Visitor Information Centre is open Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm; Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm. The Downtown Visitor Information Centre is open Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm.
