Edmonton Events International
| Glenn Duncan and Lindsay Harrison attended the 2009 Sportaccord congress in Denver March 23-27. Edmonton Events International (EEI) was promoted under the Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance’s (CSTA) Team Canada booth along with over a dozen other Canadian cities. Lindsay and Glenn also met one-on-one with representatives from various international sport federations and gathered 2 strong leads. |

| Lindsay Harrison attended the Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance (CSTA) congress April 14-16, 2009 in Gatineau, QC. She had the opportunity to meet one-one-one with representatives from various national sport organizations and gathered 3 strong leads. Lindsay was also appointed to the CSTA Board of Directors and will serve a two-year term. |

The CSTA congress also includes the 3rd annual Prestige Awards Gala Luncheon. Edmonton was well represented at this event through Edmonton Events International’s sponsorship of the CSTA Sport Event of the Year Award (budget under 250k) as well as through the World Canoe Polo Championships, held in Edmonton July 2008, which won the CSTA New Sport Event of the Year Award. Darryl O’Brien, the host organizing committee chair was in attendance to accept this award.
