The 9th Annual You're Welcome Edmonton Awards continue to amaze
Once again the You’re Welcome Edmonton Awards did not disappoint celebrating a record number of nominees who continue to bring excellence to this great city through their dedication to outstanding service.
On April 22 2009 the Winspear Centre for Music played host to nominees, sponsors, and guests as the award recipients were announced and presented with their awards in a rockin’ ceremony that celebrated their great achievements.
Special guests Mayor Stephen Mandel and Minister of Tourism, Parks, and Recreation Cindy Ady celebrated along with the nominees. Edmonton’s own Miss Universe Canada contestant and University of Alberta student Sameet Gill was also on hand to assist in the celebrations.
All in attendance were entertained throughout the program by local talent that provided awe inspiring acrobatic feats, music, and laughter.
Be sure to check out the 9th Annual Faces of Excellence and celebrate the award recipients throughout the year. Congratulations to all nominees who took the opportunity to attend this event and look forward to seeing you next year!
