The Endless Feast Comes to Edmonton!
The PBS television series the "The Endless Feast” travels the continent bringing together local farmers and food artisans, food lovers, and star chefs, as they explore the connection between earth and the food that we eat, one incredible feast at a time. The series introduces a different province, state, or City and features a gorgeous feast staged in a stunning location from farm fields to vineyards to urban community gardens, to celebrate food at the source. Whether its truffles and dandelion salad in a forest clearing in California or Saskatoon pie in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada they dine among the very elements that fill our plates, visit local farmers markets and hear tales of the land and its foods from the locals themselves. The Edmonton Film Commission is honored to have lured the Producers of this show to hold an "ENDLESS FEAST" on August 28, 2009 utilizing magnificent locations, local farmers markets and Alberta organic products.
If you would like additional information on these or other film initiatives contact Patti Tucker at ptucker@edmonton.com or (780) 917-7627.
