Legends Million Dollar Payout
Structure
In a recent announcement from Charlotte
Motor Speedway concerning the Legend Million dollar race, the payout
structure was announced.
The Feature race will consist of 30 Legend racers and the purse for
that race is $840,000.00 with the winner receiving an astonishing
$250,000.00.
There will be 10 B-Mains consisting of 21 racers and each
participant will receive $500.00.
There will be 10 C-Mains consisting of 20 racers and each
participant will receive $250.00.
The B-Main & C-Main participants will share in an additional
$160,000.00.
That means that they will pay out to over 400 competitors WOW!!!! |

It’s also a great time to find out what’s new for 2010 and voice
your opinion on what you thought was wrong in 2009 and what you
would like changed in 2010.
Your participation is needed and your thoughts are important, it is
after all YOUR LEGEND RACING SERIES. |

2010 Schedule - Minus Dirt
Shown below is the 2010 Mac’s Legend
Racing Series Schedule. Legends is pleased to announce that for the
first time ever Legend Racecars will race in Regina at Kings Park
Speedway. Everybody at Kings Head Speedway are excited to showcase
the Mac’s Legend Racing Series at their track and I know the Legend
Racers are excited to go there.
On another note Legends will again race
on the Dirt in 2010 and the schedule should be finalized in the next
couple weeks and it will be in the next Newsletter. |
The 2010 Chase for the Mac’s Cup
will consist of 9 races:
4 at EIR Wetaskiwin / May 15 & 29 Sept
11 & 25
2 at Saskatoon including the 2010 Mac’s “ Froster 50”
2 at Medicine Hat Raceway
1 at Regina
The 2010 EIR Northern Series will be 5 races. (The July 17th race at
EIR will be a non points race).

Legend Cars of Alberta is pleased to
Announce an alliance with Allen Berg Race Schools for 2010 and
beyond. Legend Cars of Alberta will own all the equipment and Allen
Berg Race Schools will operate the Legend Racing School Programs.
Legends Cars of Alberta and Allen Berg Race Schools will work
together to market and promote not only Legends but also Allen Berg
Race Schools open wheel and Go Kart School Programs. Legend
Cars of Alberta and Allen Berg Race Schools looks forward to growing
the Individual Schools (Adventure, Advanced & Top Gun) 10 Lap Test
Drive and the Corporate Schools Programs. And this growth will

Team Kipp Racing, a father and son Baby
Grand team has purchased a 1934 Chev Coupe Legend racecar.
Wayne Kipp out of Edmonton Alberta owns
the team and his son Michael drives. Their intent is to do some
Legend racing in 2010 while they gear up for the Million Dollar race
in July.
Michael is a very good racer and he
will give the regular Legend racers a run for their money.

Chelsey Wilson from Airdrie who is
another Kart racer will team up with KJ Rae in a two car team for
2010
Still to be determined is how many races the team will do and which
car from the Legend Cars of Alberta rental fleet she will race
