Danny "the Dent Guy" Hinds was named Legends man of the Year.

Danny has retired from racing and will be missed as he will now spend his summers at Veranda Beach, which is south of Osoyoos on the US side.

Danny was and is one of those nice guys, who was fun to race with. And at times Danny had as many as 5 legend racecars with the Dent Clinic Logo on them.

Danny won the Masters Championship in 2004. The only thing Danny never won, was Best Appearing Legend Race Team. He may never have won the award, but his team was always one of the best looking teams out there.

Mac’s Convenience Stores have always found a way to entertain everybody at the Banquet and this year was no different as Scott Reid and Ron Thompson picked on 2 racers #45 Jarrod Schaufert and #22 Rick Walls as well as Mark Levack Crew Chief for the #39.

And they had everybody in stitch’s as they handed out the Mr. Clean Award, the I Can’t See Award & the Lets Mow the Lawn Award.

Ira Laughy the 2007 Legend racers rep and Rick Blanchette the 2006 racers rep spoke on behalf of all the racers and made presentations to all the Sponsors. Mac’s Convenience Stores was honored for their 14 Years of Sponsorship of not only the Legend Series but also the Mac’s Froster 50, the Chase for the Mac’s Cup and the Sponsorship of the #38 & #3 Legend race Teams. Mac’s was presented with a picture which paid tribute to the 2007 Chase for the Mac’s Cup and was Signed by the racers.

All the Other Series Sponsors received a Picture of the 2007 Legends Poster signed by all the racers.

As we all know, one of the reasons we are the Premier Series in Western Canada, is because of the Corporate Partners that the Legend Series has Sponsoring the Series.
