This Month at Castrol Raceway
The snow is finally gone and the racing is ready
to go at Castrol Raceway. May is a buys month at
Castrol Raceway with races happening every
weekend, and there is something for everyone!
Nite Thunder’s
– The first 3 of the Daytona Homes Nite Thunder
series will be taking place on May 5, 12 & 26.
Come and watch as the 360 Sprints, NPP Late
Models, Wissota Late Models, Sportsman (Xtreme)
Sprints and Stock cars rip of the clay track!
The Driver’s have been waiting all winter long
for the season to start so the competition will
be fierce!
Bracketeers
– This year is gearing up to be an awesome
point’s chase in the Bracketeers Classes. With 2
series to compete in, the Torco Race Fuels King
of the Hill series on Saturday’s and the Freedom
Ford Bracketeers on Sunday’s, the Driver’s will
be working hard and running fast! Come and watch
as these 2 series run in May on the weekends of
5/6, 12/13 & 26/27!
Street Legals
– The JB’s Power Centre Street Legals are back
every Friday night in May! This is a fun and
safe way to come out and race your car down the
¼ mile! Competitors pay just $25 and spectator’s
just $10! Be sure to bring your helmet and race
against some of the fastest Street cars in
Edmonton!
SCC Sport Compact
Challenge – its back for 2 shows at
Castrol Raceway, the first is on May 19! This is
the first and only tuner based motorsports event
in Alberta. SCC combines Drag racing, Autocross,
and Drifting motorsports. Competitor Gates open
at 9 AM Autocross runs from 11:30 to 4:00 Drag
Qualifying 11:30 to 3:00 Eliminations at 3:45
Drifting demonstration at 5:00.
Castrol Raceway
Girl Search
Do you or someone you know have what it takes to
be a Castrol Girl? We are in search of beautiful
girls to represent Castrol Raceway at car shows,
events and at the track. Castrol will be holding
a girl search at our Fox Hunt event June 9th.
Entrants will compete for a first place cash
prize and top three will be offered a chance to
become Castrol Raceway Girls full of exciting
opportunities.
If you know of
someone who might be interested or is looking
for more information please have them contact

information and picture. Please include any
referral information as well; the referrer of
any contestants who are chosen to compete will
be given two free tickets to the Fox Hunt event.
