Thanks from Rob & Ron - We would like to thank everyone who helped make the 2007 race season the most paramount race season we have ever seen! Records were crushed all season long; with record attendance for both Oval and Drag racing events along with speed and time records taken to a new level.

We were able to bring the World of Outlaws Oil City Cup to Edmonton and witness the best 410 sprint car series in North America. This event was brand new to Castrol Raceway this year and will continue to blow you away for years to come. The IHRA Rocky Mountain Nationals came to town again for our biggest show ever! This event becomes more and more successful every year thanks to everyone's support and hard work.

It is through the support of the fans, teams, drivers, crews, families, sponsors and our hard working staff that allows us to continue to grow Castrol Raceway into one of the most premier racing facilities in North America!

Thanks again to everyone who came to Castrol Raceway and supported us. We look forward to having you all back again for the 2008 Race Season.

IHRA "Nitro Jam" Award of Excellence - The Award of Excellence has not been given out in 5 years. It is the most rare and prestigious award IHRA offers and has been awarded to Castrol Raceway for being the most dominate IHRA sanctioned track of the 2007 season. According to IHRA President Aaron Polburn it was a "no brainer".

We couldn't have done it without the great fans, racers and staff. Thanks to everyone for their part in this amazing achievement.

2008 Save My Seat & Save Money - Castrol Raceway has launched the 2008 Save My Seat Program. Renewal letters have been mailed out to every Rocky Mountain Nationals and Oil City Cup ticket holder and the deadline for renewing is December 10, 2007. After December 10th, any seat not renewed will be available to the public for purchase. Castrol Raceway is switching to a new and improved ticketing system for the 2008 season, which will print off an electronic ticket. The system will not be ready to launch until after the Save My Seat program, so you MUST call the Castrol Raceway office to renew your seats.

All Motorhome customers must call the Castrol Raceway office and speak to Kate Fowler to renew you spot. Please note for track side Motorhome spots during the Rocky Mountain Nationals there has been a price change to $200.00, all other spots for the Rocky Mountain Nationals are $150.00.

Renew your Rocky Mountain Nationals and/or World of Outlaws spot before December 10th and Save Money! Ticket prices will increase after that date. For more information or if you did not receive a Save My Seat letter please call the Castrol Raceway Office at (780) 461-5801.
