NAIT can help you implement, restructure, or maintain a management system within your organization that complies with relevant international standards such as ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, and HACCP Food Safety. "Implementing an effective management system greatly enhances the strength of any company," says Han Visser, CEO of Chartz Consulting. "While you may think you need to be a large organization to benefit, I've seen these programs benefit all sorts of clients, from one person companies to organizations with 25,000 employees. The principles apply to any company that has customers."
Both Han and Chartz Chief Operating Officer, Arlette Peterson have a lengthy background in the field, having previously been extensively involved in auditing and certifying companies to ensure compliance with international Quality Management standards. "Our experience on the audit side provides an effective starting point from which to now help our clients implement a program that's right for them," Han says. The Chartz team works with you to understand your company and industry as a first step, and takes into consideration any statutory and/or regulatory requirements that are applicable to your industry when developing a system for you. "Our implementation process is simple, effective, and manageable, focusing on implementation while avoiding over-documentation," Han stresses.
It all adds up to results that will help your organization improve productivity, customer satisfaction and employer satisfaction - surefire ways to boost your bottom line.

NAIT helps AFPA Keep on Truckin'!
|
|
When the members of the Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA) were in need of solutions, NAIT was there with answers. With the industry growing by leaps and bounds, there are simply not enough qualified truck drivers to haul logs. The AFPA has turned to NAIT, and specifically to the NAITfind service, to address their skilled worker shortage. This unique program utilizes NAIT's expertise in marketing, skills assessment and training to fill the needs of Alberta employers with highly skilled individuals from across Canada and around the globe.

While the Alberta advantage is what attracts potential employees, at the same time Earle is on the lookout for ideal candidates. "We want to talk to those people that have graduated from a recognized driving program, have at least three years experience, the proper class license, a clean abstract, and most important, a long-term commitment to Alberta."
It's just one example of partnership that has certainly paid dividends for the AFPA, and will continue to help address their needs in the future. If you organization would benefit from this type of program, contact Gary Maier at 780.378.5016 for more information. |
