Legends Cars of Alberta would like to wish all of our Legends owners, drivers, sponsors and fans a happy new year. The 2006 season is starting to take shape and with any luck we should have a schedule out soon.

The new racetrack in Saskatoon is progressing nicely and will have racing in early June. The track wants to make sure it has all its kinks worked out, thus Legends 1st of 3 races will be July 29 with the CASCAR West Series, just us and them. We will keep the racers up dated with pictures as the track progresses.

And then there were 2, as Legends adds a 2nd driver in Saskatoon. Danny Hinds is seen congratulating Lane Sorenson on his new # 83 Dent Clinic Legend racecar. Lane will also become a Sub Dealer for Legend cars of Alberta in Saskatoon.

The Dent Clinic Racing team has been a huge supporter of Legends racing for many years now. Danny, Tom, Lane and the Dent Clinic team now have a total of 5 race cars with the Dent Clinic logo on them, way to go guys.

Too bad they can't pull the dents out of our fiberglass fenders.

Now that 2006 has officially begun, Legends Cars of Alberta will begin to make some 2006 Sponsorship announcements.

Legends has always been very fortunate to be associated with some of the very best companies around. This year is no different. We would like to begin the new season by making the following sponsorship announcements.

Snap on Tools by Wendell will be back as an Associate Sponsor in 2006.

Snap on Tools by Wendell will also continue as a Sponsor of the # 66 Reynolds & Bernard Legend racecar

Legend cars of Alberta is proud to Announce that Kinkos/Fedex logo's will appear on all Legends School cars, and Legends Rental racecars as well as their 3 Trailers in 2006 .
 

Kinkos/Fedex will design and supply all Legends brochures, flyers and marketing needs in 2006.

For any racers that are looking to get some brochures, posters or marketing material done for their race teams be sure to talk to Matthew Mort at Kinko's.

#99 Tom Hollinshead has purchased Ira Laughy's enclosed trailer and informs us that he is a going to be a Serious Contender for the 2006 Masters Championship.

The #54 has a new paint scheme & a new Blitz 4 motor for 2006 and will see Craig "Fast" Ball return to the drivers seat for about 3 races in 2006 including the Mac's Froster 50 which he has won in the past and would like to win again.

#16 Grant Beck has ordered a new chassis & Body and Legend Cars of Alberta will rebuild the car for 2006 . Grant isn't sure if he will race yet in 2006, although he wants to. Time will tell!
