Gentlemen, Start Your Engines! - 2008 Season begins May 17th

2008 marks the 15th Year that Mac’s Convenience Stores has Sponsored the Legend Racing Series in Western Canada. In 2006 Mac’s Convenience Stores became the Title Sponsor and the Series is now called the Mac’s Legend Racing Series. As well, Mac’s is the Series Sponsor of a 4 city 8 race Championship that is called the "Chase for the Mac’s Cup". At the end of the first 6 races the top 5 drivers + one wild card in each class will have their points reset to zero. This will allow all 6 an equal shot at the Mac’s Cup. It truly becomes a 2 race shoot out for the 2008 Mac’s Pro, Semi Pro & Masters Championship.

The premiere race in the 2008 Chase for the Mac’s Cup will again be the Mac’s "Froster 50". June 14th in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the beautiful Auto Clearing Motor Speedway.

The Froster 50 will be a 133 lap A-Main race for a total purse of $10,000.00. This is the richest Legend race in Canada and will attract 40 plus Legend racers from Western Canada and Northwest USA.

The 2008 Mac's Legend Racing season kicks off on May 17th at Edmonton International Raceway in Wetaskiwin with the first of eight races in the Chase for the Mac's Cup, the Milk 2 Go 50.

Curtis had fast time overall a few times last year. #22 Rick Walls - Former Semi-Pro champ and a longtime Pro, Rick can run with the fast guys, still needs to get back to where he was with his old car.
