Ira Laughy and Clay Hair
after Friday's Main |
All have done a Terrific job of representing all Canadian Legend
racers, as they go up against the best Legend racers from the United
States, Europe and Canada. All went down to pit there driving skills
against the best Legend racers in the World.
In 2009 Ira Laughy traveled to Orlando Florida to race in the
Legends WinterNationals, 5 races in 5 nights again racing against the
Best Legend racers that Legends has. The one difference this time
was Ira was going to race a car prepared and maintained by Chase
Pistone and his staff. This allowed Ira to concentrate on one thing
RACING.

John Sossoman #14, Tim Brockhouse
#00, Clay Hair #29, Ira Laughy #17 get lined up for one of the week
long feature races at WinterNationals
For Ira to be the Man he had to beat
the Man. In this case Ira had his work cut out for him as Clay Hair
and John Sosseman to name a couple of the Best Masters racers in
Legends today were in the field. Clay Hair had just finished winning the 2008 Summer
Shoot and US Nationals for the umpteenth time.
What does Ira do, he goes out and finish’s 6th on Tuesday, 5th on
Wednesday, 4th on Thursday, 2nd on Friday and wins the Pole and
finish’s 1st on Saturday. Truth be known Ira also taught Clair Hair
something, and that something was you don’t need the bumper to win a
race. For those who may not know what I mean by the bumper, racers
in the US love to use the bumper coming out of a corner to move the
racer in front of you. Ira won the only way he knows how, No Bumper,
just driver talent, and the help of a terrific crew led by Chase
Pistone.
Congratulations Ira, from everyone in Legends Thanks for making us
Proud.
