June 2006

Golf Course Construction (New Nine) continues!!!

With an early start to the spring our construction is right on schedule, we have completed much of the most difficult areas in regard to the roadways to the subdivision. The golf is beginning in earnest on clean up of #16 and #17.

From this our crew will be working on the #10th and #18th holes; these will be easily seen as you tee off from Number 1 on the south.

The real estate portion of the project has been well established, rough in on phase I roads have been completed as far as we can go until utility right of ways have been finalized. We expect most of these issues handled by the end of June.

Anyone interested in a site tour please give us a call for an appointment.

We now have GPS!!

Wolf Creek has always promoted as a traditionalist golf course. This basically means we refrain from the modern trappings of yardage targets and flag colors or pin position balls. With the advent of modern GPS along with making it legal in tournaments this has opened a whole new era in simplifying yardage issues. We have found with our research that the best GPS for our course is Logix.

The reason being they can be stationary on a cart or you can take them to your ball. Because we have restricted cart paths in some areas this solidifies the actual yardage for the customer. As a member you will be able to rent these units for $3.00 per round. Normal charge for green fee players will be $5.00. Please ask in the golf shop for more detail.
