November 2006

Construction continues on new nine

Though snow is on the ground we are still continuing with our golf course construction. Our crew has been capping all greens with the final sand for shaping and seeding in the spring. Following that we will be moving our equipment to the lake and start digging and moving dirt to mound part of #14 by Highway 2A. This should take a good portion of the winter but will result in us completing all major construction in all three phases. Our new pumping system has been ordered and should be in the pump house on the south nine sometime before Christmas. The increased size will accommodate both nines as we synchronize them together. Irrigation will begin in the spring and should be completed by early summer.

Village roads now complete in Phase 1 and 2!

Our crew was doing double duty in October, as registration of Titles was going through we completed all roadways to both phases. This is rough stage only but it is totally drivable for vehicles. Over the winter we will be working on completing most of the utilities that will go in the ditches near the roadway. In the spring the roads will be packed and prepped for gravel stage. It is our hope we will have most of the subdivision in Phase 1 and 2 complete sometime in the fall of 2007.

Golf Shop News!

I still can't believe the season has come to a close. On behalf of Jay, Chris, Brandon, Scott and myself I would like to thank everyone for supporting the Proshop in the 2006 season.

We have been to the buying show and I'm sure no one will be disappointed in next years clothing and equipment. I will be keeping the shop open through Christmas if anyone needs some Christmas gifts. We still have a good selection of stocking stuffers like hats, golf balls, head covers and towels. We also have a good selection of outwear in both men's and woman in many sizes. If you need anything ordered in, shoes, bags, clubs or need to purchase a Gift Certificate just email me at jae@wolfcreekgolf.com.

Once again thanks for everything and I hope to see everyone in the Spring!!

  Club House

We will be closed for most of the winter but Chef Michael will be around for a few days in December so we decided to offer a couple of days for Christmas parties. If you or your company has not booked your date yet maybe think of Dec. 8th or 9th at the Creek.
