Construction Continues!
With a decent winter happening we have continued with our construction. We completed the capping of all the greens by Christmas, which will expedite the finishing in the spring. After the Christmas break we started the lake project in Phase 3. This should take most of the winter with completion expected sometime in march pending weather. Most of the fill will be taken to two area’s on the course to offer natural buffers to the highway. The lake is in Phase 3, we originally did not expect to complete this part of the project for two to three years, however the response the pre-sales were so strong we decided to complete the whole project this year.

Wolf Creek discovers rich deposits
of Sand!
While doing our investigations for greens sand and top dressing sand for the golf course we hit a rich vein on the new #11 fairway. After having it tested in labs in the US their conclusion is the quality of this sand is so good that it can be used as a USGA golf green construction sand. This works two fold for us, we will not have to purchase any construction sand and we also can replenish our current top dressing pit with this new high quality product for both golf courses. The crew is now busily mining this sand on #11 on the new course and transferring it to our top-dressing pit between #5 and #9 of the west. |

All members receiving this newsletter will also be receiving a follow-up e-mail in regards to your 2007 dues. Please expect this to come through in a few days. We will be sending notices out by e-mail first and will follow-up by mail for those that are technically challenged. Very few changes can be expected for this season in regards to the dues, the big change will come next year with the opening of the new golf course. |
