Main Sewer and Water lines Now In Subdivision!!!
Our Contractors in the Sewer and Water, Pidherney’s made short work of the Main lines. Though the weather did not cooperate we still managed to have the lines in just over a week. The Tie ins to each lot will take some time but because we pulled the mains in instead of ditching we probably took a month off our schedule. Spider Plow was subcontracted to complete this task using new state of the art equipment that can pull large pipe through frozen ground. The Christmas season will see a slight slowdown in our work however we should see completion sometime in January. |

First homes going up!!
With title release now available in phase 1 and 2 some homeowners decided to build this fall. Though the bulk of homes will be going up in the spring it is still good to see we have early exitement with the subdivision. As most rural developments only offer the basic utilities, the unique nature of Wolf Creek Village is the sewer and water aspect, making it a fully self contained development. No wells are required as we are supplied from the regional red deer water line and our sewer system will be supplied through our new Seair septic system that turns all sewage into potable reusable water.
Our first home going in is owned by Scott Roesler a 2,200 sq. ft bungalow located in the trees on Wolf Run Drive. Another home is under construction at the same time by the same builder.

Golf construction continues!!
Rod Whitman did a quick review of the course status this fall and pronounced it to be about 95% complete. He still would like to do some bunker work on #11 over the winter, which includes flipping sand in the large transition bunker in front of the tee’s. The purpose of this is to get consistency in the sands for both texture and looks. #11 which is nicknamed “Hells full acre” was the mine source for all the sand on course including greens and bunkers. We managed to also stockpile these sands on different areas for future use as top dressing and bunker refurbishing on the south course. Like the other golf courses on the property all greens compositions were native to the property. #11 has a very distinctive Pine Valley look to it because of the landscape. |
